Every year for the past ten years, Mike and Lora Wagner host “Mopars on the Pond” at their home for their close friends and family to share their love for cars. Almost everyone drives their hot rod or muscle car onto his property where they line up along a beautifully landscaped pond in Wagner’s front yard. Everyone brings a dish to pass and stories about their car.
Mike Wagner has been a Mopar enthusiast since graduating high school and now has six Mopar vehicles in his collection, including his NHRA U.S. Nationals Indy Mopar ‘Top Eliminator’ Award-winning 2009 Dodge Challenger Drag Pak Ramchargers tribute car, along with earlier drag racing vehicles and modern day NHRA stock and super stockers.
When he's not working on his vehicles or getting a drag race in, Wagner works for FANUC as a project manager in the paint robotics group installing robots in automotive paint shops all over the country.
For those that may not know, Mopar is the combination of the words "MOtor" and "PARts,” and is the exclusive source for authentic original equipment parts and accessories for the millions of Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep®, Ram, and Fiat vehicles.
Ramcharger was started about 60 years ago with a group of Chrysler engineers that wanted to drag race, so Chrysler started sponsoring and backing drag racers with the Ramchargers. Wagner and his wife are now the proud owners of that brand and the trademark Ramcharger, Candymatic, and Candystick. Wagner has also made a deal with Hot Wheels to start producing the very first Ramcharger Hot Wheels replicas including his winning Dodge Challenger Drag Pak.
Thank you to the Wagner family for allowing us to film this unique and beautiful event.
